Meet the Homemakers Challenge Team!

Laurie Bostwick {owner}

Growing up, Laurie’s dream was to become a wife and Mama. That dream came true over 20 years ago when she became the wife of  Toby, her Honey. Thankfully, Laurie’s dream to become a Mama has also been fulfilled as they have been blessed with 5 children, aged 18 down to 9, with one already with Jesus. They’ve always been a homeschooling, homesteading family and love being together. Currently, they reside in Tennessee on a small (very small) grass-finished beef farm, where they also are joined by 5 miniature dachshunds, 1 Beagle, 2 horses, 5 ducks, and fish & other aquatic animals. Laurie blogs at Abundant Blessings.

Lauren Mirecki

Being home all the time is somewhat of a challenge for keeping things clean and organized, since homeschooling 3 children 6 and under keeps books, toys, dishes and schoolwork constantly rotating! But I have a secret weapon: chores! And a lot of prayer for patience and the Lord to help me be content, even when things are a disaster :0) My desire for our home is that we be servants and show our love to each other and God in our attitudes and actions.

Brenda Rodgers

As the little girl who wanted to be a homemaker when she grew up, I was disillusioned to find myself thirty years old and still unmarried. Now after being a married homemaker for three years, I realize that every woman – single or married, working outside the home or in – is a maker of the home. My desire is to help women see themselves as the homemakers they are and to create home environments that are peaceful at every stage of life. I also write at Triple Braided Life and The Read Write Tutor.
